At Attires4Hire, it is our mission to be part of making the fashion industry truly circular and reduce the environmental impact it has on our planet. We aim to enable our lending members to utilize their existing and unused fashion items and turn them into extra capital; while our renters to access unlimited closets at a fraction of their retail price and experiment with their style in a more sustainable way.
We intend to build a community of trendy, financially and environmentally conscious people who believe renting & lending their wardrobes will contribute to a more sustainable future.

Sustainable Fashion
It is impossible to deny the impact the fashion industry has on the environment. In fact, it is the second largest polluter in the world, just after the oil industry! Naturally, as the industry grows, so as the environmental damage it causes.
Since the 1990s, the shift towards Fast Fashion, that encourages over-consumption, resulted in mass manufacturing of cheap clothing that causes enormous greenhouse gas emission, depletion of water resources, local microfibre pollution, more waste and other negative environmental impacts.
According to The Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) 140 million pounds worth of clothing ends up in landfills every year in the UK alone.
Eco-friendly, ethical and sustainable fashion is finally on the fashion industry’s agenda however we all need to play our part in making fashion circular.
The first step is the willingness to change and that’s how renting & lending your clothes comes into play.
